Slime Stampede is a turn-based chase puzzle. Slimes close in on you one step at a time, and you cannot fight them. Instead you steer them into each other, into pits, and into the puddles their crashes leave behind. Each turn you step one square in any of eight directions, or wait. Tap a dot next to you, swipe, or use the keyboard.

After your move, every slime steps one square toward you, never diagonally. It moves along the direction in which you are farther away. Rocks block everyone, and a slime lined up with you behind a rock simply waits. When two slimes land on the same square they crash into a puddle, and any slime that later steps into a pit or a puddle is gone. If a slime steps onto you, you are caught. Arrows show where each slime will go, and red dots mark steps that would get you caught.

Clear every slime to win. Matching par, the fewest turns possible, earns three stars, and up to three turns over earns two. Undo takes back a turn. The hint shows the next step on a shortest win and caps the level at two stars. Sixty levels run from Sprouts to Slime Storm, with a daily level.

Worked example

One slime stands two squares to your right and one below. Another stands one to your right and two below. If you wait, the first is farther away across, so it steps left; the second is farther away down, so it steps up. Both land on the square diagonally below and to your right, crash, and leave a puddle there, ready for a third slime.

Strategy tips

Line them up. Move so that two slimes are the same distance from one square, then let them meet there.

Reuse puddles. A fresh puddle is a trap. Lead the remaining slimes across it.

Waiting is a move. Sometimes the safest way to set up a crash is to stand still.
